The project “Čudesan svijet zmija” (Miracle world of snakes) begin in 2013. with the first exhibition in Zagreb.  Since 2013. exhibition has taken place on yearly basis in duration 2-3 months in various cities in Croatia.  Over 80.000 people saw exhibition so far.  Apart from amassing opportunity to see in live some of the most remarkable and world known snakes, visitors have option to try to feel and hold some of the harmless ones.  Exhibition is unique opportunity to learn and get into the world of these magnificent creatures that are often miss understood, and unfortunately have rather unfair treatment and negative aurora.

My collection of snakes has been growing for over 20 years and consists of more than 40 species of snakes, over 150 snakes and it is unique in this areas.

Among other snakes collection consists of: largest venomous snake of the world – the King cobra, four species of mambas, including notorious Black mamba, 10 species of rattlesnakes, Gabon viper and many other venomous and non venomous snakes and reptiles.  Snakes are exhibited in natural settings terrariums resembling their natural habitat where they live in nature.  All snakes are captive breed animals and are registered with the Ministry of Protection of Nature.

Bio

I was born in Zagreb, Croatia on January 28th 1973.  Got my college BBA degree in business management from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA in 1995.

My love and fascination for reptiles especially snakes started at early age.  I had my first snake when I was 7 years old and obsession with these mythical and misunderstood creatures still lasts to this very day.

My first exhibition took place in Zagreb in Green Gold centaur in 2013. and all Croatian media follow that story.  Specail guest on the exhibition was Mr. Mark O’Shea, world knows expert and TV presenter on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel.

In 2007. as a outside consultant along with Dr. Rainer Fesser and Dr. Maja Lang-Balija I receive annual award for exceptional contribution in animal protection from Austrian Animal protection sociality Tierhilfswerk.  We did a special project for keeping and breeding Nose Viper (Vipera ammonites) in captivity in Immunology Institute of Zagreb, where whey use these animals for production of antivenin.

I also participate as outside consultant for the Ministry of Protection of Nature on a project called NIP – I was a lecturer and held workshops on handling dangerous animals for Custom officers, Inspetors of Ministry of protection of nature and border Veterinary inspectors.
